Delegate Tom Rust didn’t see us coming. According to the Loudon Times, “Del. Tom Rust (R-86th)… fell short of his challenger’s cash intake. Democrat Jennifer Boysko brought in $57,000 to Rust’s more than $32,000.”

It is because of grassroots support from people like you that Jennifer was able to report such a great number. More than 75% of our total came from contributions of $100 or less.

If Tom Rust didn’t think he had a race, he knows he has one now. And like a typical Richmond politician, Delegate Rust’s campaign turned to special interest money to fund his reelection. While Jennifer outraised Tom last quarter, we know he will be raising more from his friends with deep pockets.

HERNDON – Congressman Gerry Connolly today endorsed Jennifer Boysko for the Virginia House of Delegates in the 86thdistrict, encompassing the Town of Herndon, portions of Fairfax County’s Dranesville, Sully and Hunter Mill Districts, and several precincts in Loudoun County.

“Jennifer Boysko is the kind of leader we need in the Virginia General Assembly,” Connolly said. “Jennifer has worked extensively in Herndon and Dranesville as an advocate for education, seniors, and community issues. She understands the ideals and values of the people of the 86th district.
